Scout Roll: Roll to determine how far expedition intel reaches. You inspect
all spaces in range and choose ONE destination to travel to.
- Ration cost: 1–2 spaces = 1 ingredient • 3–4 = 2 • 5–6 = 3. Stopping early costs less.
- Ration preference: Preferred ration = +2 Affinity • Disliked = −2 Affinity.
- Auto-yield: Ingredients and Excavation Finds gathered from every space traveled through, based on biome.
Expedition Camp Actions
Train: Spend P-Magic to learn a discipline technique. Cost varies by biome
affinity.
Cook: Use 2 Ingredients to prepare a meal. Restores
P-Magic and boosts Affinity. Named dishes give larger rewards.
Barter: Trade 1 Ingredient now to receive 1
Ingredient
next turn. (Free action within camp).
Interact: If a biome-matched Maiden is present in
camp,
trigger one of her scene-pool interactions. Scenes do not repeat within the same run.
Crossroads Events
A chance encounter with a rival. These are free actions that do not end your turn's camping
opportunity.
- Interact: Learn a random Paleo Art of the rival's discipline.
- Challenge: Initiate combat. Redirects you to the combat screen.
- Leave: Continue on your way.
